The Arnprior Library
is celebrating the Arts during the month of April 2013 and have invited the Arnprior TuesDay Painters to show their paintings of tulips in an art display titled Just Tulips.
I began working on my composition for the tulip painting with a review the numerous photos I have of tulips. I selected several looking for the ones that showed the tulip flowers in different angles, and stages of their growth. Sketching these tulips as individual studies was fun and here are the results of these pencil studies.
