The red-breasted nuthatch is a small songbird. The adult has blue-grey upper parts with cinnamon underparts, a white throat and face with a black stripe through the eyes, a straight grey bill and a black crown. What a nice little bird and a good subject for me to get my drawing skills renewed. This design, homage Sherry Nelson, is a nice simple drawing with some interesting elements. Sorry, I did not take progress photos of this one.
