Now here is an interesting subject. domestic animals are always great to paint or draw. This was a challenge with all the light and dark area,s as well as hair, both long and short. For this drawing I used a PMP reference photo by Steve Lyddon’s Making Cows Eyes.
For this drawing I used my standard set of drawing tools
I am struggling with paper and sorting out all the various kinds, textures, weights etc. It slightly complicated in that I have a number of pads of paper which I thought to use but I going to seek out quality paper when I determine whats what. If anyone has thoughts or suggestions please add to the comments of this page.
So the paper I used for this project was a Bristol vellum surface, 100lb, 11 x 14, white paper.
