CROCUS IN THE SNOW

I am please to announce our first class for 2014 . Crocus in the Snow is a floral painting designed to hopefully welcome spring. These spring flowers are painted on a 12 x 16 canvas using the Bob Ross Floral Method.
This is a really interesting painting to do with several techniques and material applications. We want you to be able to focus on the painting of the Crocus in the Snow so we will have a black gessoed canvas ready with the border taped and the design applied to the canvas.
You will begin by painting the background and then using the Bob Ross Soft Oil paint , block-in the crocus flowers, sculpt their shape to define the various petals and highlight these flowers. You will learn to paint leaves and stems. We will finish this painting with (what I hope) is the last of the snow. This is a fun painting.
